The 220kV Nam Cam Substation Project enhances power supply for Nghe An province and its neighboring areas, contributing to the N-1 criterion, improving reliability and ensuring the safety of the regional power grid. This project is also part of the national power development plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, according to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 500/QĐ-TTg. Recognizing the development needs, ENPOWER proudly continues our mission, striving to complete this project excellently and significantly contributing to the country’s socio-economic development.

The project commenced in early 2024, in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. After the procurement of materials and equipment, manufacturing of control panels, testing and calibration, by July 8, 2024, all goods were ready for delivery to the site, with strict supervision by ENPOWER technicians to ensure quality and safety.

With our best efforts, ENPOWER hopes the project will make significant contributions to the development of Nghi Loc district in particular and Nghe An province in general. It not only helps to strengthen the regional power grid, bringing EVN power to widespread areas, but also creates more job opportunities for local residents thanks to the stable power source.

Although the project has faced numerous challenges during construction due to delayed site progress and the emergence of interconnecting cable issues between parties, ENPOWER will continue to coordinate with the Central Power Project Management Board to expedite and motivate contractors to accelerate the project progress. Accordingly, we will work with consulting party to determine the arising volumes to complete the appendix for the additional secondary equipment to overcome the project’s difficulties. We also plans to provide manpower to the site to support equipment installation and operation.
