SFL-2000

Travelling Wave Fault Locator System sfl-2000KINKEI SFL-2000 is a surge type fault locator which is able to locates transmission line fault accurately. The calculation error is less than 200m.

Highly accurate fault locator
・Location accuracy: ±200m
・GPS time synchronization accuracy: 160nS
・High sampling frequency : 10MHz

Reliable fault detection
・DFR deviation trigger and DFR variation trigger are available to detect a fault.

Voltage elements are used for fault locating (OPTION)
・Be able to locate faults even when current surge is too small to detect.

Be able to manage up to 4 terminal per one transmission line
・Complies with IEC61850 and can subscribe GOOSE message from station bus, trigger DFR and record to DFR and SER.

Backup fault locating functions (OPTION)
・Even when the fault surge is very small and it cannot be detected, the system is able to locate the fault point by Backup Fault Locating Functions (the Current Division Ratio Method /The Impedance Method).

KINKEI Travelling Wave Fault Locator System consists of the Surge Type Fault Locator SFL-2000 and SFL-3000 installed at every terminal (electric power station) of transmission line and F/L server that performs computation necessary to localize the fault point.

The result of fault location can be checked by accessing the system from the client PC through Web browser.
